About this item

  • SAFE & EASY PET FENCE: The HT-28 wireless pet barrier system includes a transmitter and training collar to quickly and safely train dogs older than 6 mo. and larger than 5 lb. to leave certain parts of your home off limits; after the first or second mild static correction, they will learn to respond to the warning tone alone, protecting your kitchen, nursery, sofa, and more!
  • ADJUSTABLE RANGE: Each fence transmitter leaves your pet free to roam elsewhere while protecting an area as small as 1'4" or as wide as 8'6"; a provided tester tool lets you fine tune everything to meet your needs; when needed, securing multiple areas is as simple as purchasing additional transmitters
  • ADJUSTABLE & WATERPROOF COLLAR: Three metal prongs (0.8/1.1/1.9 cm long) and a training collar that adjusts from 6 to 17 inches in width come included to fit most adult dogs. Make sure you select the proper metal prong to ensure a snug fit for your pet
  • DEPENDABLE SERVICE: The wireless barrier transmitter is powered by 3 AA batteries (not included) but the electronic pet collar works as long as 5 days before being easily recharged from any available USB port or charging station
  • SATISFACTION GUARANTEED: Order the HT-28 wireless fence system with your peace of mind assured thanks to its strong 1 year warranty and CO-Z's usual friendly 24/7 customer service, ensuring worry-free ordering, easy setup, and a long future of more peaceful and respectful life with your pet

For Indoor Cats

For Indoor Cats
I bought 7 of these! 2 for bedrooms that are off-limits to my cats, 4 for our 3 couches, and 1 extra to use on our Christmas Tree in December... to finally keep my 2 indoor cats AWAY from areas they innocently ruin. My cats used to scratch and mark all our couches, as well as leave fur all over them, and sneak into my family's rooms to pee on any laundry on the floor. But no more!Overall I give this 5 Stars because it's the best system on the market so far for indoor cats. There are a few things I wish were improved, but overall, worth the purchase.PROS:- Collars are comfortable. My 2 cats wear them 24/7 inside without any hair lose or sores around the neck, and they can still play and sleep and curl up comfortably. They don't seem to mind them at all.- Barriers aren't in the way. I have 7 hiding around the house under couches and beds and they aren't really visible.- Rechargeable collars. I've had other systems in the past that had you replacing watch batteries in the collar, which was time consuming and expensive. These ones I just plug in -- and bc I bought more barriers I have extra collars, so I always have 2 charging and 2 on my cats. Each charge lasts 1 week, so I change them every Sunday.- Barriers work well. They don't make a buzzing noise, like other brands I've owned before do, and their low to high barrier distance settings seem better -- the Small is Smaller and the Big is Bigger than other brands. It makes it easy to keep the cat off of the sofa chair, but able to curl up on the carpet just 2 feet away happily, while the 1 I have in the Master Bedroom has a barrier set large enough to keep the cats completely out of the room.- Barrier batteries last long. They take 3 AA batteries, which was a bit expensive since I bought 7 of them, but it's been 2 months without needing a change yet so that's okay. Better than other brands that either died faster, or I had 1 that I'd leave plugged in with Micro USB that required cords everywhere, buzzed loudly, and had charging ports that kept breaking.- Price. CO-Z doesn't sell collars and barriers separately, but even together they are $15-50 cheaper than the competition.- Well programmed lights. I had another brand collar that would constantly blink bright green so you'd know the battery isn't dead. Silly. These ones just blink a subtle red if the battery is dying, the rest of the time there's no light or sound.CONS:- Barrier does require batteries I'll have to replace eventually- Collars are a bit bulky. I'm thinking of replacing the nylon band with handsomer ones soon, and buying silent dog tags to put with it, and hopefully then I won't mind how big the collar is as much. It isn't any bigger than the competition though.- It's still a bit pricy, even if it is cheaper than other brands haha- The charging port on the collars is under a big water-proof screw lid. Because my cats are indoor I just leave the screw lid off all the time; if I wanted them to be waterproof it'd be a bit of a pain to unscrew the lid all the time.I have 1 skinny cat and 1 fat cat. I used the shortest prongs on the collar and left them just a bit loose, and that's all they need to work great without rubbing. Now my cats are happy, without scratching up or leaving fur all over the furniture. Success! And I don't think they've actually been zapped since the first day they wore them; they just run at the beeping now, and they barely ever beep as my cats have learned all the no-no zones. I've probably barriered about 30% of our house at this point, but by putting cat furniture, toys, and treats in the areas they are allowed to live my cats don't seem to have noticed the space reduction at all. Overall, happy with my purchase.

Overall I give this 5 Stars because it's the best system on the market so far for indoor cats. There are a few things I wish were improved, but overall, worth the purchase.

PROS:
- Collars are comfortable. My 2 cats wear them 24/7 inside without any hair lose or sores around the neck, and they can still play and sleep and curl up comfortably. They don't seem to mind them at all.
- Barriers aren't in the way. I have 7 hiding around the house under couches and beds and they aren't really visible.
